Steps to produce an organic product

For any type of agricultural production you want to undertake, there are a series of steps to keep in mind:

1. Always keep in mind that you must conserve and promote soil health and biodiversity. To prepare the soil for our organic products, vertical tillage should be used. Organic matter and soil moisture, among other things, are assessed.
2. Avoid contaminants, fertilizers, agrochemicals and GMOs.
3. Be aware of and comply with organic production standards.
4. Certify and label your finished products.
5. For more detailed information on the current regulations, you can visit the website of SENASA (Argentina's national agrifood health and quality service). There, among other things, you'll find the list of inputs approved for organic production.
