We know Black Friday has its fans and its critics because of the mass consumption it encourages. But for us, consumption isn't the problem; what matters is what gets consumed. In this article we share tips so you can make the most of this date and boost your sales.
Let people know your business is joining Black Friday
During these days, social media is flooded with posts announcing promotions, so it's essential that you do the same; otherwise, your store may go unnoticed.
How can you do it?
-With Instagram stories announcing that you're taking part and previewing the discount you'll offer to build anticipation.
-With a post featuring an eye-catching image and detailed information. For example: how long the discounts last and whether they apply to all products or just some. You can pin the post so it shows up first on your Instagram feed. Here are some templates you can use.
-If you have the phone numbers of people who have bought from you before, this is also a great opportunity to create a broadcast list with that information and build a closer relationship along the way.
Create valuable content
What do we mean by this? Communicate the benefits of your products. They may be healthy, sustainable or artisanal, but if your audience doesn't know that, you won't reach them with the impact you want. So don't assume your customers already have that information.
There's another important point here: communicate your products' benefits first and their features second, since not everyone has technical knowledge about healthy eating and some people may end up confused.
Use high-quality photos
The images that go with your products should be sharp and well lit, and shouldn't misrepresent the product's size. It's important that your photos faithfully reflect the product you sell. Customers should receive exactly the product they saw in the image when they placed their order; otherwise, they may feel cheated.

Customize your store for the occasion
Make it eye-catching with the banners we designed for you at Agrojusto—you'll find them in this folder. We also have some ideas for grouping your products into categories:
-By discount percentage.
-By usage ideas, for example “Everything you need for a healthy breakfast,” putting together a bundle with the products you think fit best.
-You can run a 2-for-1 on products that are close to their expiration date, but always make this clear to the customer.
Remember that online shopping volume rises around these dates, making it a great opportunity to grow your business and show that conscious, healthy consumption matters.
Let's get to it!
